I had a higher expectation for Sava’s, so unfortunately, my overall experience was a bit disappointing. First, I want to mention that the waiter was extremely nice and kind, and the host was also very friendly. The food was good, and the inside of the restaurant was beautiful and had a really nice atmosphere. However, I had made a reservation, and I was seated outside on the patio. I completely understand that patio seating can happen, and I wouldn’t have minded it if the situation had been handled differently. Unfortunately, the way it was communicated by the gentleman at the front felt quite rude and unwelcoming. What was more disappointing was seeing another customer being seated in the back area, which appeared to be more like a stair/service area, while I was asked to sit outside. It made me feel like my reservation wasn’t really being considered. The woman at the front also gave the impression that they were dealing with so many customers that they no longer seemed very attentive or concerned about the individual experience. Again, the food was nice, the restaurant itself was beautiful, and our waiter was genuinely great. But because I had such high expectations for Sava

We enjoyed an amazing brunch at Sava's! I ordered the smarts fruit ale, he ordered the long distance martini and they were both fantastic! For brunch, I got the huevos rancheros with chorizo, which was amazing! The spices on the chorizo were incredible and the dish was so well put together! The hubs got the eggs Benedict and he thought it was perfect! All in all, our experience was stellar; we recommend!

Maynard street public parking was the best option with an easy walk to Sava's. The menue just changed and in the fine print at the bottom there is a 3% service charge on the total bill. Not cool. Just raise the prices and don't sneak it in. The service was great, with a nice atmosphere.

Overall, the food was delicious. I especially loved the steak, the pickles and Ban ban shrimp. ​However, I was very disappointed with the recommended pasta because the noodles were completely overcooked. When I asked the staff, they explained that they boil the pasta once in large batches, so they aren’t able to serve it al dente. To be honest, I was shocked because the other menu items were so good. ​I thought only diners or chain restaurants skipped boiling pasta to order, so I really cannot recommend the pasta here. The chicken dish they served as a replacement was also quite bland. I felt like I could have made something better at home. I feel like this place is very hit or miss depending on what you order. That said, the staff were wonderful.

I love Sava’s! The service here has never disappointed me and the food is even better. The shoestring fries are my favorite I’ve ever had and they’re perfect for a girl dinner! The atmosphere is really cool, the lighting is ambient and there are fresh flowers on every table. It can get really busy in the evenings so be aware and make reservations if you have a bigger party. Overall, I’ve never been disappointed after coming here, and would highly recommend.
